On Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 6:06 p.m. the Prairie du Chien Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a black sedan traveling North on the 1600 block of South Marquette Road. During the traffic stop, the officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A subsequent search resulted in 8.93 grams of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine in tablet form, Marijuana and drug paraphernalia being seized.
The driver, Jarnay Martin, a 25-year-old female from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was arrested for Possession of a Schedule I & Schedule II Narcotic, Possession of Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
This case is ongoing and further charges may occur.
