Postville Fire Update--Fire Ruled Accidental and Postville Food Pantry Taking Money Donations

About 75-percent of the Agri Star Meat & Poultry plant in Postville was destroyed by fire on Wednesday. The fire has been ruled accidental and started in the laundry room with no injuries reported. 600-employees have been effected by the fire. In a Facebook Post, the company says they are currently evaluating its short-term plans and recovery strategy while thanking first responders and the community for their support.
