Prairie du Chien School Board approves hires, resignations, and wage increases

The Prairie du Chien School Board approved the hiring of Alex Montana and Melissa Wojcik as 6th Grade Teachers.
The Board accepted a number of resignations. Bailey Sternitske resigned as 7th/8th Grade Volleyball. Katherine Mannel as High School Art Teacher, Kathleen Hein as Middle and High School Math Teacher. Heather DeBruin as High School English and High School Student Council Advisor, Todd McDonald as Middle School Math Teacher, Abby White is 3rd Grade Teacher, and Diana Cody from Food Service.
The Board also approved staff wage increases. All teachers will receive 16-hundred dollar raises, Support Staff a three-percent rase and Administration/Management will receive a prorated 16-hundred dollars based on days worked.
The District was informed that Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance will increase 14-percent.
