Saint Lucas man arrested on Child Enangerment and two Maynard residents charged with Harrasment

On April 23^rd at approximately 6:30pm, Fayette County Deputies responded to a disturbance in St Lucas. After an investigation, Adam Schmitt, age 35 of St Lucas was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault and Child Endangerment, both D Felonies. Adam was transported to the Fayette County Jail and later released on bond.

On April 24^th, 2026, at approximately 9:09 PM, Fayette County Deputies responded to a disturbance in Westgate. Upon Deputy arrival, it was determined that a false report was made regarding a Domestic Dispute. After further investigation, Jeff Walker (age 67) & Julie Walker (age 55) of Maynard were taken into custody and charged with Harassment.  Jeff and Julie Walker were transported to the Fayette County Jail where they were held for their initial appearance.
