Semi-Manure Injector Accident

On October 28, 2025, at approximately 9:49am, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a report of a Semi and Trailor vs a Tractor hauling a Liquid Manure Injector on Kornhill Road near J Avenue, approximately one mile south of Fayette, IA. After further investigation, it was determined that Brady Keith Fettkether, age 25 of Aurora, was operating a Black 2023 Peterbilt Semi and pulling a Gray 2023 Wilson Trailer westbound when he attempted to pass Bryce Kenneth McKee, age 29 of Calmar, who was operating a John Deere 8R 410 Tractor and hauling a Liquid Manure Injector. McKee was attempting to turn southbound at the time of the accident when they collided. No injuries were reported. The semi received no damages but the trailer received approximately $1500 in damages. The Tractor received approximately $2500 in damages and the Liquid Manure Injector appeared to have no damages. This incident is still under investigation.
