Starmont doubled their win total from a season ago with an impressive 53-0 win over Clayton Ridge. Anthony King rushed 11-times for 110-yards and three touchdowns to the lead the offense. King had touchdown runs of 5, 47, and 3-yards. Jack Thole completed 4 of 8 passes for 84-yards and two touchdowns. Thole also scored on a 4-yard blocked punt return for a touchdown and added an interception. Isaiah Maker had both scoring receptions, one for 24-yards and the other for 29. Camden Hamlett added a 6-yard scoring run to finish the scoring. Jax Tommasin hit a 33-yard field goal and was 6 for 6 on point after attempts. The Stars took advantage of four special teams miscues by the Eagles. The first was the blocked punt for a touchdown and then three bad exchanges between the snap and punter which led to great field position. Clayton Ridge was led by Carson Dudley who carried the ball 5-times for 39-yards. The Eagles were held without a first down in the first half and only 56-yards of total offense. Starmont is 2 and 0, 1 and 0 in District play. Clayton Ridge is 0 and 2 overall and 0 and 1 in the District.
