Three Clayton Ridge Administrators are accused of rule violations of the Iowa Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics. Superintendent Shane Wahls, Middle and High School Principal Terri Thompson, and Dean of Students Wade Marlow face rule violations. They include “Failing to report any suspected act of a child or dependent adult abuse as required by state law, “ “Falsifying or deliberately misrepresenting or omitting material information submitted in the course of an official inquiry or investigation.” and “Falsifying or deliberately misrepresenting or omitting material information submitted in the course of an official inquiry or investigation” among the violations. The Iowa Department of Educational Examiners found probable cause but will not make a final decision on the violations until the investigation is complete. KCRG reports that the three will now face a hearing with an Administrative Law Judge.
