A Dorchester man was arrested in Allamakee County on Friday evening for violating his probation in Winnesheik County. 34 year old Justin Bigler was booked into the Winnesheik County Jail after being transported from Allamakee County.
A Harmony Minnesota man was charged with Failure To Maintain Control after he lost control of his car while swerving to miss a deer. The Winnesheik County Sheriff’s Department says 34 year old Todd Stenseth was traveling east on County Road A18 when a deer entered the roadway. Stenseth swerved to miss the dear and entered the gravel shoulder area of the west bound lane and began to lose control of the vehicle. Her skidded back across both lanes and entered the east bound lane’s ditch where his vehicle overturned. Stenseth did not remain at the scene and did not report the accident. He was not injured.
