Absentee balloting begins tomorrow, Wednesday October 13th, for the City & School Election. Absentee ballots can be sent out in the mail through October 18th. Absentee voting in the Auditor’s Office will take place through Monday November 1st during normal business hours, 8:00-4:00, Mon-Fri.
Due to changes by the State Legislature, in-person absentee (early) voters must complete the absentee ballot request form themselves. Auditor’s Office staff can no longer fill out the form electronically. So in-person absentee voters will be directed to stop in the Courthouse rotunda where forms are available with instructions.
Voting on Election Day will be from 7:00am – 8:00pm at voters’ normal polling places. Changes to polling locations due to redistricting will NOT take effect until 2022.
