On June 30, 1963, Jean was united in marriage to James “Jim” Puffett in Dundee, Iowa. Three sons were born to this union, Jeffrey, Jerald, and Jason. The family resided in Dundee. Jean was a stay-at-home mom and housewife while the boys were young. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s / St. John’s Lutheran Church in Dundee. Rowdy James Cuffe, 60, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at his home in Manchester. He was born on September 19, 1965, in Elkader, Iowa, the son of John Cuffe and Audrey (White) Cuffe. Rowdy attended West Delaware High School. Rowdy worked in construction. Manchester, Iowa Our mom, Patricia Lorraine Sands, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, after an extended battle with dementia. She is finally free. Born on May 19, 1940, Patricia was the second oldest child of Lester and Louise (Wilson) Franks. As the oldest daughter, she spent her childhood raising her five younger siblings while looking up to her older brother. Born and raised in Manchester, she attended Manchester schools until marrying Robert E. Beam
