Clayton County Supervisors approve a settlement agreement with an Engineering Firm
The Clayton County Board of Supervisors reached a settlement agreement with an Engineering Firm in regards to an error at the County Shop. The error involves engineering work that was done for the flooring in the shop area. The County accepted a settlement of nearly 107-thousand dollars. Delaware County Authorities release information on injury accident and three separate arrest incidents
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Delaware County. Authorities report the accident occurred on November 14 th at 5:02pm. 68-year old Jan Fredrick Keck of Greeley was operating a 2012 Ford F350 and slowed to make a left into 2186 210 th Street. 19-year old Cooper Paul Mesch of Dehli was following behind in a 2014 Subaru Impreza and rear-ended the Keck vehicle. The Monona City Council makes an offer for the Police Chief position
The Monona City Council approved making an offer to a candidate for the position of Police Chief. The City is awaiting final word from the candidate. They are looking for a replacement for Austin Wille, who recently resigned to take the position as a Benton Coounty Conservation Officer. The Guttenberg City Council accepted the proposed Library Capital Improvement Plan
The Guttenberg City Council accepted the Library Capital Improvement Plan. The Library is planning a number of projects over the next five-to-fifteen years. They include technology updates, roof repair work and building improvements and renovation. The plan is estimated at around 340-thousand which will use the Library CD and Money Market Funds. The Council also set December 8th as the date for a Meet and Greet for the council and swearing in of new members at 5pm.

Two people charged with OWI after a two-vehicle accident in Grant County
Double OWI Crash Arrest On 11/15/25, at approximately 2:18 a.m., the Grant County Communications Center received a 911 call. The individual said it was an accidental dial and gave a location different to where the call had plotted, which was on Military Ridge Rd., near Langmeier Rd., in the Town of Patch Grove. Search warrant leads to drug bust in Elgin, Fayette County Authorities release information on a number of incidents
