A Guttenberg Girl has been officially crowned the new Clayton County Dairy Princess. Zoie Dietrich is the daughter of Tessa and Chris Dietrich and was crowned at the Clayton County Dairy Banquet on Friday Night in Elkader. Winneshiek County Authorities release information on two-vehicle accident and a Warrant Arrest
A Calmar teen was charged in connection with a two-vehicle accident in Winneshiek County. The accident happened on April 8th at 3:34pm on Highway 52 and 200th Street. 17-year old Gracyn Ella Humpal of Calmar was operating a 2014 Jeep Cherokee and failed to stop for a vehicle that slowed. Mar-Mac Police looking for information in connection with a hit-and-run accident
The Mar-Mac Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a red semi-truck hauling lumber. The incident occurred on April 7, 2026, at approximately 4:08 p.m. The semi-truck unlawfully traveled on a weight-restricted roadway within the City of Marquette and struck a stop sign. Friends of Pool 9 will hold a Mississippi River Clean-Up Day on Satutrday, April 18th
Friends of Pool 9 is spearheading this year’s Mississippi River Clean-Up Day on Pool 9 on Saturday, April 18 from 8:00 am to noon. Teams will gather at DeSoto WI, Blackhawk Park, WI, Ferryville, Lansing, and New Albin. Through Friends of Pool 9 efforts almost 100 tons of debris have been collected through the years.
