On January 12 th , 2026, at approximately 3:16 p.m., a Garnavillo police officer was on routine patrol in the city when they observed a vehicle with out of state plates that had been in front of them by happenstance pull into a local business after noticing the officer behind them. No injuries reported in a three-vehicle accident in Delaware County. The accident occurred on January 13th at 5:35pm. 19-year old Mason James Roling of Manchester was operating a 2015 Toyota Camry. On 1-14-26, at approximately 10:50PM, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office executed a weapons-related search warrant at 10736 cable Rd. An Elkport woman has been found guilty on three charges in connection with a fatal accident in Clayton County. Susan J. Steve was found guilty of Homicide by Vehicle, Serious Injury by Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana. Car vs Farm Tractor  On 1/13/26, at 5:20pm, the Grant County Sheriff's Office was notified of a car vs. farm tractor rollover crash, on Hwy 35/61, near Badgerland Auto, in Paris Township.
