On August 9th, 2026, at approximately 3:35 PM, a Fayette County Deputy arrested Renee Lynne Owens (age 49), of Waverly, for 2 active arrest warrants for OWI 1st Offense and Open Container. Charges against a former Delhi Mayor charged with first-degree theft and impersonating a public official have been dismissed. Gregory D. Preussner was mayor in Dehli from 2016 to 2021 and was charged after a criminal investigation last year into former Delhi City Clerk Lori Tucker.
