Louie Wacther Amercian Legion 229 will hold a Fish Fry and Raffle at Home-A-Gins in Mount Hope on Saturday, July 18th. Fish Fry from 11am until 3pm and Raffle at 3pm. 75-hundred in cash will be given away with 1st receiving $5,000. All proceeds benefit area veterans and local youth groups. Door prizes throughout the day.

Grace Cafe will be held at Peace UCC, Elkader on Thursday, July 16th from 5-6:30pm. Our menu this month is spaghetti, Ceasar salad, garlic bread and peach crisp. Everyone is welcome. Donations over food costs this month go to Shepherd of the Hills back to School drive.
