Ed-Co used a number of big plays to handle Waco, 58-7 in the 8-man playoff opener. Jax Steger passed or 222 and four touchdowns and ran for 186-yards and three scores to lead the way. Steger completed 9 of 11-passes with scoring strikes of 73, 15, 43, and 37. He totaled the rushing yardage on just 7-carries and the scoring runs went for 46, 70, and 35. Christopher Lange had five receptions and totaled 137-yards with scoring receptions of 73 and 15. Carter Battin had four catches for 91-yards, including a 43-yard score. Carson Ingles added a 13-yard rushing touchdown and a 37-yard receiving score. For Waco, Hayden Shelman led them with 24-carries for 113-yards and a 44-yard touchdown run. The Warriors close the season at 3 and 6 with all of their losses to teams that made the playoffs. Ed-Co improves to 9 and 0 and advances to the Quarterfinals.
