A 106-year old Manchester woman who was one of the oldest living Veterans that served in World War II has passed away.

A 106-year old Manchester woman who was one of the oldest living Veterans that served in World War II has passed away. Mildred Frieda Fritz passed away on Saturday, November 15th at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. Fritz served three years during World War II. She enlisted in the US. Army Air Corps as a nurse. Fritz participated in the Honor Flight in 2017 at the age of 98 and received her Quilt of Valor when she turned 100. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 21st at 10am at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Manchester
