Alburnett man injured in motorcycle accident near Dyersville

An Alburnett man was injured in a motorcycle accident in Delaware County. 68-year old Michael Allen Wieland was in the accident. The Iowa State Patrol reports that on May 15th at 6:34pm, Wieland was operating a 2024 Harley Davidson southbound on 332nd Avenue near Dyersville. The Wieland motorcycle left the roadway, went into the ditch and struck a group of trees. Wieland was taken to MercyOne Dubuque by Bi-County Ambulance for treatment of injuries. The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Delaware County Sherrif's Office, Dyersville Police, and Bi-County Ambulance.
