Allen Knox

Allen Knox, age 79, passed away on November 4th following a brief illness.

Born July 26, 1947, Allen lived a life defined by his kindness, dedication, and the warmth he brought to everyone who knew him. He was a beloved husband, father, papa, mentor and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community.

A celebration of Al’s life will be held at a the North Fayette Valley Community Coalition Youth, Family Learning Center, 23689 Canoe Rd Elgin, IA on Monday, November 9, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 pm with visitation, food & fellowship to follow until 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the North Fayette Valley Community Coalition (PO Box 234 Elgin, IA) in his memory.
