Crawford County Health Department Offers Fall Flu Clinics

As flu season approaches, the Crawford County Health Department is urging residents to protect themselves and the community by getting vaccinated. An annual flu shot is recommended for everyone six months and older as one of the best ways to prevent illness, reduce missed work or school days, and protect vulnerable populations.

The following community flu clinics will offer regular and high-dose influenza vaccines. The high-dose vaccine is specifically recommended for adults 65 and older.

Community Flu Clinic Details:

• Monday, September 21:

  • 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Sterling Church

  • 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Gays Mills Community Center

• Tuesday, September 22:

  • 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Hoffman Hall (Prairie du Chien, WI)

Please bring your insurance card to the clinic.

If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled clinics, you can get your flu shot by appointment at the Crawford County Health Department office.
