Damage totals 35-thousand dollars in three-vehicle accident in Oelwein

At 5:18pm on November 13, 2025, Oelwein Police responded to a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Rock Island Road and 14th Ave SE.  A red 2003 Ford F250 driven by Charles Llewellyn rear-ended a white 2020 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Siera Henaman.  This collision shoved Henaman's vehicle into the path of oncoming traffic, resulting in a head-on collision with a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Calvin Anderman.  Initial estimates of damages were $10,000 to the vehicle driven by Llewellyn, $15,000 to the vehicle driven by Henaman, and $10,000 to the vehicle driven by Anderman.  Llewellyn was assigned fault for the accident and was issued citations for Failure to Maintain Control and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.  Oelwein Police were assisted by the Oelwein Fire Department and Mercy Oelwein Ambulance.
