David Ray Hatch, 68, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 4, 1956, in Manchester, the son of Chester and Mary Ann (Wulfekuhle) Hatch. He was raised in Manchester and was a 1974 graduate of West Delaware High School.
Dave worked on the line at the Ertl Toy Company for several years and also worked at several other jobs. His most recent job was delivering the Gazette newspaper. Dave enjoyed watching all sports. He especially liked cheering for the Chicago Cubs and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Survivors include his three sisters, Kathleen Michaels of Marion, Patricia “Trish” (John) LeClere of Manchester, and Cheryl “Cheri” (Randy) Taylor of Manchester; and three nephews, Andrew LeClere, Brad LeClere, and Scott Taylor.
David was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Jacob Taylor, and brother-in-law, Donald Michaels.
