Decorah teen charged in connection with a one-vehicle accident in Winneshiek County

A 16-year old Decorah teen was charged in connection with a one-vehicle accident in Winneshiek County. Ethan Matthew Oyloe was charged with Careless Driving and Striking Fixtures Upon A Highway. The accident occurred on May 30th at 10pm. Oyloe was operating a 2007 Ford F-150 on 236h Avenue. Oyloe lost control and the vehicle struck a number of mailboxes. The vehicle continued into a lawn and spun around, coming to rest against a tree. Oyloe was not injured and damaged totaled 15-hundred.
