Delaware County Authorities release information on three weather related accidents.
The first accident occurred on March 16th at 2:45am. 30-year old Matthew Alan Vaske of Manchester was operating a 2017 Peterbilt Milk Truck. Vaske was traveling eastbound on 255th Street when he drove into white-out conditions. The truck went into the north ditch and rolled onto its side. Vaske was not injured and damage totaled 15-thousand dollars.
The second accident occurred on March 16th at 10:07am. 37-year old Manuel Rios Lasoya of Montgomery, Illinois was operating a 2024 Ram 3500. Rios Lasoya was traveling northbound on 180th Avenue and while negotiating a curve encountered a snow drift, approximately 18 to 24-inches deep, along with high winds and low visibility The Rios Lasoya vehicle ran of the road and rolled. No injuries reported and damage totaled eight-thousand dollars.
The third accident occurred on March 16th at 3:07pm. 46-year old Bernhardt Henry Peterson of Rock Springs, Wyoming was operating a 2008 Ford F-250. Peterson was traveling northbound on Highway 13 when he encountered icy pavement. The trailer attached to the Peterson truck fishtailed and he lost control. The truck left the roadway, and the trailer jacknifed and turned onto it's side. No injuries reported and damage totaled four-thousand dollars.
