Delaware County Authorities Release Information on Two Injury Accidents and Arrests

A Dyersville woman was injured in a UTV accident in Delaware County. 83-year old Leanna Mary Feldmann was injured in the accident. Authorities report that accident happened on August 21st at 2:53pm om 330th Avenue. 54-year old Kenny Paul Feldmann of Dyersville was operating a UTV and left the driveway to check the mail. Feldmann turned around to pull up to the mailbox on the passenger side. Feldmann struck the mailbox pole causing the unit to rollover in the yard. Leanna Feldmann was partially ejected through the side window of the vehicle, which landed on her arm pinning her to the ground. Feldmann was taken Ambulance to Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Delaware County Authorities report that a Strawberry Point woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident. 49-year old Gisele Carbone Krueger was injured in the accident. The accident occurred on Highway 3. Carbone Krueger was operating a 2025 Hyundai Pallisade and was traveling westbound and was blinded by the sun after she crested a hill. The Carbone Krueger vehicle did not see a 2023 Volvo Truck that had pulled off the road to check the load and had it's flashing lights on. The Carbone Krueger vehicle struck the trailer and vehicle. Carbone-Krueger was taken by Ambulance to Regional Medical Center for treatment. Damage totaled 60-thousand dollars. Carbone-Krueger was charged with Failure to Stop in Assured Clear Distance
