Delaware County Incidents

On August 1, 2025, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance between a father and daughter. Upon further investigation, Hannah Joe Ann Robertson, of Manchester, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance- Marijuana 1st offense (a Serious Misdemeanor) and three counts of Child Endangerment (an Aggravated Misdemeanor).

On August 2, 2025, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a possible home theft. Upon further investigation, the information about the theft was found to be false. Kayla Ann Ridnour, of Colesburg, was charged with False Report of Indictable Offense to Public Entity (a Serious Misdemeanor).

On August 2, 2025, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office took a report of an altercation. Upon arrival, deputies located a male subject, and after searching the male for any weapons, a THC vaping device was found. On scene, deputies spoke with witnesses who reported a female had hit and been yelling at her boyfriend. Witnesses also observed the female strike the side of the male’s car with a water bottle, causing damage estimated to be between $750 and $1500. The female was identified as Teandra Lynn Hausafus, of Grinnell, and the male was identified as Nathaniel Byron McManus, of Grinnell. Hausafus was charged with Criminal Mischief- 3rd Degree (an Aggravated Misdemeanor), Domestic Abuse Assault- 1st Offense (a Simple Misdemeanor), and Disorderly Conduct- Fighting or Violent Behavior (a Simple Misdemeanor). McManus was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance- Marijuana 3rd or Subsequent (an Aggravated Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a Simple Misdemeanor).

Possession of Controlled Substance- Marijuana 3rd or Subsequent (Aggravated Misdemeanor)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)


On August 3, 2025, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a disturbance. The report was of a male subject who had shown up unannounced and uninvited to a residence and began to yell and pound on the front door. The male subject, identified as Zantz Don McConnell, of Monticello, had retrieved a baseball bat from his vehicle to threaten an occupant of the residence, while also causing damage to the property. Upon the arrival of deputies, McConnell had left the residence and was later located by law enforcement while driving his vehicle with the baseball bat. McConnell was charged with Going Armed with Intent (a Class D Felony), Criminal Mischief- 5th Degree (a Simple Misdemeanor), and Careless Driving.

On August 4, 2025, John Michael Huntley, of Rock Island, IL, turned himself in to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office for active arrest warrant of Counterfeiting Intellectual Property- 2nd Degree (a Class D Felony) and Criminal Mischief- 4th Degree (a Serious Misdemeanor). These charges stemmed from a March 2024 incident.
