Grant Co.Deputies Assist in Search Warrant; Three Arrested in Monfort, WI

Grant County Deputies assisted in the execution of a Search Warrant conducted Wednesday Morning in Monfort, WI and three people were arrested.

Approximately 7:00 a.m., deputies from the Grant County Sheriff's Office, the Southwest Wisconsin Emergency Response Team, and members of the Richland Iowa Grant Drug Task Force, assisted the Iowa County Sheriff's Office with the execution of a search warrant at a residence on West Main Street in the Village of Montfort. A second search warrant was applied for due to items observed in the residence during the initial warrant.

19 year old Ashton Johnson of Montfort, was arrested for maintaining a drug house, possession with intent to deliver THC, and bail jumping.

72 year old Linda Johnson of Montfort, was arrested for maintaining a drug house, party to the crime of

possession of narcotic drugs, party to the crime of possession of cocaine, and bail jumping.

44 year old Christopher Johnson of Montfort will be referred to the Grant County District Attorney's Office with the recommendation that he be charged with possession of narcotic drugs, and possession of cocaine.

These investigations are not related to the investigation into the death of Addison Colomer. The case remains open pending further investigation.
