January 3rd Scores--MFL MarMac Girls start fast, Bulldog Boys pull away in wins against North Fayette/Valley!

The MFL MarMac Girls raced out to a 10-1 lead and were on their way to a 58-29 win over North Fayette/Valley. Olivia Driscoll led the Bulldogs with 16 and Cora Keehner scored 10. Emma Driscoll chipped in with 7. The Tigerhawks were led by Hannah Schroeder with 8 and Amelia Shaffer scored 6. The Bulldogs led 20-8 at the end of one and 36-12 at the half and never threatened the rest of the way. MFL MarMac is now 7 and 3 overall, 5 and 2 in the Conference. NFV falls to 1 and 8, 1 and 6 in the Conference.

The MFL MarMac Boys used a strong second-half to pull away from North Fayette/Valley, 65-53. Four Bulldogs scored in double-figures. Wesley Corlett led the way with 17, Tristan Bacon scored 15, Carter Lightfoot added 14 and Carsten Pester scored 12. NFV had three players in double-figures. Hayden Thompson led the Tigerhawks with 16, Jordan O’Kones scored 15, and Kendrick White added 14. The Bulldogs led 33-31 at the half and pushed the lead to ten at the end of three and kept the Tigerhawks at a distance in the fourth. MFL MarMac is now 6 and 3, 3 and 3 in the Conference. North Fayette/Valley falls to 2 and 6, 1 and 5 in the League.
