Kamille Jean Milroy of Manchester

Kamille Jean Milroy, 55, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City surrounded by family. She was born on July 1, 1971, in Manchester, the daughter of Robert and Twyla (Tutton) Milroy. Kamille was raised and educated in Manchester and was a 1989 graduate of West Delaware High School.

On August 3, 1991, Kamille was united in marriage to Richard “Rick” Werner at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester. Two children were born to this union. The couple later divorced. Kamille was a lifelong piano player. She owned Kamille’s Piano Studio and taught children how to play the piano for many years. She also worked as an associate in the Lambert Elementary School library. Most recently, Kamille enjoyed working for Farm Bureau Financial Services and sold Tupperware products.

Kamille loved visiting Topsail Island in North Carolina and spending time at the beach. Christmas was her favorite time of year and enjoyed decorating and celebrating the season. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, her dogs, and especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Dylan Werner of Chicago and Kaitlyn (Bryce) Askeland of Lamont; baby granddaughter Askeland on the way; and her siblings, Kevin (Mary) Milroy of Silver Spring, Maryland, Kyle Milroy of Levenworth, Kansas, Kim (Jim) Salzbrenner of Mount Vernon, and Kip (Rhonda) Milroy of Holyrood, Kansas.

Kamille was preceded in death by her parents.
