Lee A. Horstman of Davenport, Formerly of Guttenberg

Lee A. Horstman, of Davenport, formerly of Guttenberg, Iowa passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Genesis Hospital in Davenport, Iowa.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg, Iowa.  Funeral services will commence at 11 a.m. with burial following in Bolsinger Cemetery near Guttenberg. Rev. Marvin Bries will officiate.

Lee was born on October 12, 1965, in Dubuque, IA, son of James and Ruth (Bolsinger) Horstman. He graduated from Edgewood-Colesburg High School.

Lee spent his time with family, playing cards, playing pool online and watching football. His favorite teams were the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Washington Commanders. He spent time outside of the house working on his truck with friends.

Survivors include his children: Nichelle (Trent) Oostendorp and Cody Horstman; grandchildren: Owen and Nora Oostendorp; mother, Ruth Horstman; siblings: Irvin (Rebecca) Horstman, Kenneth Horstman, Marsha Foss, and Kevin Horstman Sr.

He was preceded in death by his father, James in 2018; sister-in-law, Viana in 2025; and grandparents, Clarence and Eleanor Bolsinger, Martin Sr. and Ellen Horstman.
