Lori Ann (Fishler) Gearhart of Edgewood

  It is with heavy hearts that we previously announced the passing of Lori Ann (Fishler) Gearhart, age 65, of Edgewood, Iowa. Lori passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, after a hard-fought three-year battle with cancer. Her husband was lovingly by her side, holding her hand.

Friends and family, please join us as we gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Lori and the countless ways she touched the hearts of those around her.

Lori lived her life with kindness, compassion, and a genuine love for others. She had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and important. One of her favorite reminders was: “You matter. You make a difference.”

Those words reflect exactly how Lori lived and how she treated everyone she met.

As we come together, we invite you to share memories, stories, laughter, and tears as we honor the incredible difference Lori made in our lives. Let us celebrate the love she gave, the friendships she cherished, and the legacy of kindness. May we all live a little more like Lori did: making a positive difference, making others feel seen, and doing what is right even when it isn’t easy.
