Minnesota man faces charges after 10-mile Chase in Fayette County

On June 15th 2026 at 12:18  AM a Fayette county deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on Hwy 150 near Railroad St in West Union on a vehicle for a traffic infraction.  The vehicle failed to stop for the deputy and led Fayette County deputies on approximately 10-mile chase.  Upon conclusion of the chase, 40-year-old Eric Hoyer of Yoda, Minnesota was taken into custody and transported to Fayette County jail.  Hoyer is being charged with eluding, multiple traffic violations and interference with official acts.
