National 4-H Week, October 4-10, 2026
Theme for National 4-H Week is "Beyond Ready"
National 4-H Week is an annual celebration that highlights the positive impact of the 4-H Youth Development Program on millions of young people. This takes place during the first full week in October. It connects 6 million youth, 3,500 extension educators, 500,000 volunteers, and 35 million alumni. The week showcases how 4-H helps kids build leadership, life skills, and career readiness.
The ongoing national campaign is "Beyond Ready" which focuses on preparing youth for life, college, and careers.
Join the Celebration
On Monday, October 5th, Go GREEN and show your 4-H state spirit. Wear a green hat, clothing, face paint - anything green goes.
On Thursday, October 8th, Thankful Thursday, help them shine a light on all the good that 4-H does. A day to recognize all 4-H'ers who are doing good and making positive impact by helping their communities and beyond.
