Ed-Co advances into the 8-man Quarterfinals with a workman like 34-12 win over Turkey Valley. Jax Steger rushed for 100-yards and two touchdowns and passed for 154-yards and another score. Steger carried 12-times and had touchdown runs of 7 and 8. Steger also completed 6 of 14-passes. Christian Lange had 5-receptions for 151-yards and a 14-yard touchdown reception. Carson Ingles carried the ball 16-times for 90-yards and had touchdown runs of 5 and 4. Turkey Valley by Quarterbackn Logan Busta who passed for 153-yards and rushed for 79-yards. Busta completed 9 of 18-passes with one interception. Busta rushed 19-times and scored on a 9-yard touchdown run. Treyton Franzen rushed 14-times for 81-yards and a touchdown. Kaden Schmidt added 94-yards on 9-carries. The Trojans outgained Ed-Co 412 to 345 but the Viking defense made a number of key stops inside their own territory. Turkey Valley closes the season at 6 and 4. Ed-Co improves to 10 and 0 and will go to Gladrbrook-Reinbeck on Thursday night at 7. The Rebels advanced with a 56-6 victory over Easton Valley.
