Oelwein man arrested on two warrants including possession of Meth

On 5-19-26 at approximately 9:45 a.m. a Fayette County Deputy arrested Jerry W. Bass 53, of Oelwein at the Oelwein Police Department on two valid arrest warrants. The first warrant was for possession of Marijuana; possession of Methamphetamine and bond was set in the amount of $1000.00 dollars cash or surety. The second warrant was for possession of drug paraphernalia and theft in the 5th degree. Bond was set in the amount of $300.00 dollars cash or surety. Bass was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he later posted bond and was released.
