Oelwein Police Release Information on Two Warrant Arrests

At 3:21pm on July 19, 2026, Oelwein Police arrested Kyle Lee Brown, 51, of Oelwein.  Brown was arrested on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Sex Offender Registration Violation (2nd or Subsequent Offense) - Class D Felony.  This arrest was made in the 10 block of 4th St NE.

At 7:15pm on July 19, 2026, Oelwein Police arrested Vanessa Lynn Wilson, 41, of Oelwein.  Wilson was arrested on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Accessory After the Fact - Aggravated Misdemeanor.  This arrest was made in the 500 block of Rock Island Rd.
