American Idol Winner Scheduled to Perform at Backbone Bluegrass Festival

The 2026 American Idol Champion is on the schedule to take the stage at the 2026 Backbone Bluegrass Festival.  Hannah Harper was crowned the winner of American Idol 2026 following the three-hour finale Monday night. Festival organizer Linzy Martin told KCTN they're unsure whether or not winning the competion will affect Harper's schedule this simmer, and that he is in "Wait and see mode". Harper was booked for the festival since before the American Idol season started.

The 25-year-old Harper is the granddaughter of Bob Lewis, patriarch of the Bob Lewis Family Band who has performed at the Backbone Bluegrass Festival in the past. Harper is scheduled to perform Friday, July 24th at 7:40 pm.
