Case against Former Delhi Clerk charged with stealing public funds is dismissed

A Delaware County Judge has dissmissed all charges against a former Delhi City Clerk accused of stealing public funds. 52-year old Lori A. Tucker was charged with first-degree theft, second-degree theft and tampering with records. Judge Michael Shubatt found that the charges were brought after the limitations had expired and dismissed the case without prejudice, meaning they cannot be refiled. Tucker resigned as Delhi City Clerk on April 18th, 2022 and a special investigation was conducted and released publicly in August 2024. Charges were filed in October 2025.
