Cedar Rapids woman arrested on warrant and West Union man faces charges after traffic stop

On May 5, 2026, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office arrested Christian Wesley Krambeer, age 26 of Cedar Rapids, on a valid Fayette County Warrant for Failure to Appear on charge of Contempt – Iowa Domestic Abuse Program – Failure to Comply (Aggravated Misdemeanor). Krambeer was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he is being held on a $500 cash only bond and awaits an initial appearance from a Magistrate Judge.

On May 5, 2026, at approximately 3:05pm, a Fayette County Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a Red 2003 Ford Explorer Sport for traffic infractions in the 400 block of Highway 150 North in West Union. After further investigation, the driver, determined to be Hazyn Andrew Price, age 20 of West Union was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – drugged – 1^st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor), Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana – 1^st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor). Price was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he awaits an initial appearance from a Magistrate Judge.
