Clayton County 4-H Dog Project to Host Open Dog Show
The Clayton County 4-H & FFA Dog Project group will host an open dog show on Sunday, September 27, at the Clayton County Fairgrounds. The event will raise funds to purchase and update agility equipment for use at the Clayton County Fair.
Classes will include costume, rally obedience, and agility, with age divisions for 3rd grade and under, 4th–12th grade, and adults.
The entry fee is $20 per handler and dog. Registration and check-in will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 1 p.m. Participants may register online in advance or register when they arrive.
All dogs must have proof of a current rabies vaccination. Participants should bring the appropriate vaccination paperwork with them to the show.
In addition to the dog show, a silent auction will be held. All proceeds from the event will support the Clayton County 4-H & FFA Dog Project as members work to update and purchase new agility equipment for the county fair.
