Minutes from the September 18th meeting---

1. Approved the denial of 19 Open Enrollment in requests to the IA Virtual Academy due to IEP requirements.

2. A second reading was held for the following policies: 103, 505, 506, and 507.9. The policies were approved as presented.

3. Approved an Overnight / Out of State Trip to the National FFA Convention.

4. A first reading was held for the following policies: 104, 106, 401, 403, 502, 503, 507, 605, and 905.

5. Approved the hire of Kyle Burns as Volunteer Weight Room Supervisor.

6. Approved 2025-26 School Safety Plan.

7. Approved 7 Early Graduation requests, pending completion of graduation requirements.

8. Approved the amendment of the 6-12 Student Handbook regarding required arrival time to participate in School-Sponsored Student Activities. If the student was scheduled to attend Early Bird Classes, the student is required to be in the building by 8:15 am to participate in school-sponsored extracurricular activities (practice or contest).
