Mayor Pro-Tem Jim Diers called the regular meeting of the Colesburg City Council to order at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025. On roll were Nick Brown, Jared Diers, Steve Schilling and Roger Waterman. Motion made by Jared Diers. Second by Schilling to approve the consent agenda. Roll Call: Ayes: Waterman, Jared Diers, Brown, Schilling; Nays: 0. Motion carried. Consent agenda included approval of agenda, October minutes/claims and the Treasurer’s Report, as follows:

Library: Monthly Directors Report

Sheriff’s Department – Monthly Report. Request the Sheriff attend next meeting.

Community Club: Santa will be at the Elementary School from 9-11. Doing light judging. Will have fundraising events this winter, January/February/March.

Streets & Sidewalks: Brown brought up about using the corner lot of Kuhlmans to pile snow. Council discussed. Brown then motioned to use as needed with a written agreement. A vote was taken but later found null because it had not been on the agenda.


Our City Attorney, Justin Vorwald has decided to no longer serve our City. The Clerk will send out Request for Proposal to fill the position.

Steve Schilling took his Oath of Office.

Nick Brown decided to no longer receive bank statements and Jared Diers will fill that position.
