Crawford County Sherrif's Office and Iowa DOT issue reminder about Lansing Bridge Opening

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with the Iowa Department of Transportation, would like to remind motorists that the new Lansing Bridge is scheduled to open on Friday, November 6, 2026.

As motorists begin using the new bridge, we ask everyone to follow these important safety reminders:

● No Parking: Parking on the bridge shoulders is prohibited.

● ATVs / UTVs: ATVs and UTVs are not permitted on Wisconsin Highway 82.

● City Parking: Obey all posted parking restrictions within the City of Lansing.

● Traffic Laws: Follow all posted speed limits, traffic signs, and applicable traffic laws.

● Drive Safely: Remain alert, avoid distractions, and use caution while traveling across the new bridge.
