Crawford County Administration Building, along with dozens of hospitals and organizations nationwide, will host a Donate Life flag-raising ceremony and moment of silence to honor organ, tissue, and eye donors and their families while raising awareness about the need for registered donors in the state of Wisconsin.
Please join us on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm at the Crawford County Administration Building circle drive.
Jenny Schroeter, Medical Examiner Liaison and a Versiti-Donate Life Organization representative will be raising a flag in honor of donor families, recipients and the incredible gift of life. Jenny will be on hand to answer questions and provide education.
At 1:08 pm, the flag will be raised to highlight the fact that one donor can save eight lives followed by a moment of silence for 14 seconds to recognize the 1,400 Wisconsinites currently waiting for a lifesaving transplant.

The Donate Life flag was first introduced in 2006. Since then, it has become a national symbol of unity, remembrance and hope, while honoring those touched by donation and transplantation. During the past 20 years, 100,000 Donate Life Flags have flown across America.
