Dehli man charged in connection with an accident involving a truck striking a garage. Two Arrest Incidents are reported

A Dehli man is charged in connection with an accident involving a truck striking a garage. 19-year old Cody Michael Reth is charged in the accident, which occured on September 20th at 2:19am. Reth was operating a 2008 Chevy Silverado at the intersection of 6th Street and Lexington Street in Dehli. Reth lost control and and struck the exterior of a cinder block wall of a detached garage owned by Philip Thuman of Dundee. Reth left the area on foot but eventually came forward later in the day. No injuries were reported. Reth was charged with Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Control, Striking Fixtures Upon a Highway, Defective Tires, and Possession of Alcohol Under the Legal Age. Damage to the Reth vehicle totaled five-thousand dollars. The 20 by 30-foot block garage is valued at 70-thousand dollars. A 2011 Cam 4-Wheeler was also lost with damage totaling 13-thousand dollars. A Zero Turn 42-inch Mower was lost with a value of five-thousand dollars.
