Fayette County Authorities report two arrest incidents

On October 7^th, 2026, James Mull (age 45) of West Union was arrested on an active Fayette County arrest warrant for a Probation Violation. Mull was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he remained for his initial appearance.

On October 7^th, 2026, at approximately 6:03 PM the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received report of a male who had fallen into a ditch. Upon Deputy arrival and further investigation, Shane Solheim (age 51) of Ossian was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication and Interference with Official Acts, both simple misdemeanors. Shane was taken to the Fayette County Jail where he remained for his initial appearance.
