Delaware County Authorities release information on a number of arrest incidents

On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at approximately 10:10 PM, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Alfredo Aaron Espinoza-Garcia, 19, of Dyersville. Espinoza-Garcia was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor) and Driving While License Suspended (Simple Misdemeanor). Espinoza-Garcia also received a citation for speeding. This arrest was made following a traffic stop on Highway 20 near Dyersville.


MEDIA RELEASE:

On Friday, January 9, 2026, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Linwood Patrick Green, 28, of Edgewood, on an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear. Green was taken into custody from the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office.

On Tuesday, January 14, 2026, Trevor Michael Morris, 22, of Earlville, turned himself into the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office on an active arrest warrant for Criminal Mischief 5th Degree (Simple Misdemeanor). This charge stemmed from a report of a disturbance in Greeley on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

On Wednesday, January 15, 2026, at approximately 10:15 PM, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Steven James Thompson, 47, of Manchester. Thompson was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor). Thompson also received a citation for Speeding. This charge stemmed from a traffic stop on Highway 20 near Manchester.

On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Hector Varela Jr, 37, of Missouri Valley, IA, on an active arrest warrant for Violation of Probation. Varela was taken into custody from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.

On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the Manchester Police Department arrested Andrew Michael Knight, 34, of Manchester, on an active Delaware County Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear.

On Saturday, January 24, 2026, Kyle Kenneth Pillard, 38, of Coggon, turned himself into the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office on an active arrest warrant for Trespass – Injury or Damage Greater than $300 (Serious Misdemeanor) and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree (Serious Misdemeanor). These charges stemmed from a report of a disturbance on December 25, 2025.


MEDIA RELEASE:

On Saturday, January 24, 2026, at approximately 9:30pm, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Alejandro Diaz, 22, of Elgin, IL, and Ivan De Jesus Vazquez Medina, 22, of Elgin, IL. Diaz was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana 1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor). Vazquez Medina was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana 1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor) and received citations for Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability, Improper Rear Lamps, and No Valid Driver’s License. These arrests were made following a traffic stop on Highway 13.

On Sunday, January 25, 2026, at approximately 8:40pm, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Jennifer Lee Klostermann, 42, of Manchester. Klostermann was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 2nd Offense (Aggravated Misdemeanor) and Interference with Official Acts (Simple Misdemeanor). Klostermann also received citations for Using an Electronic Communication Device While Driving and Failure to Maintain Control. These charges stemmed from a report of a vehicle in the ditch on 210th Avenue near Delhi.

On Monday, January 26, 2026, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Charles James Ellison, 37, of Monticello, on an active arrest warrant for Violation of Probation. Ellison was taken into custody from the Jones County Sheriff’s Office.


MEDIA RELEASE:

On Monday, January 26, 2026, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Stacy Jean Spratt, 38, of Dubuque, on an active arrest warrant for Violation of Parole. Spratt was taken into custody from the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office.
