Prairie du Chien, WI – May is Mental Health Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness of mental health’s important role in our lives, prioritizing our well-being, and promoting open conversations about mental health.
The Driftless Region Mental Health Coalition is a partnership of regional stakeholders committed to enhancing awareness, expanding access, and improving the quality of mental health care across the Driftless Area. This coalition recognizes the significance of mental health and its impact on our personal and professional lives. This year’s theme, Turning Awareness into Action, inspires individuals to go beyond recognizing mental health challenges by taking meaningful steps to enhance their well-being and advocate for improved mental health resources within their communities.
Community members are encouraged to share the following initiatives with family, friends, and neighbors!
1. #BeSeenInGreenWear Green on Thursday, May 15, Mental Health Action Day.
2. Post on FacebookGather friends, family, or co-workers to take a selfie and share on social media with hashtag #BeSeenInGreen
