Dyersville Man Injured When His Vehicle Left the Roadway and Struck a Building

A Dyersville man was injured when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a building. 18-year old Jacob Robert Wegmann was injured in the accident. Delaware County Authorities report the accident happened on September 20th at 10:27pm. Wegmann was operating a 2012 General Motors Yukon and traveling southbound on 300th Avenue when the vehicle left the roadway. The vehicle went through a driveway and struck the corner of the building at 1610 300th Avenue causing severe damage to the vehicle. Wegmann was extracted from the vehicle and transported to MercyOne in Dubuque by Bi-County Ambulance. The building is owned by Ronald Wegmann and damage totaled 30-thousand dollars to the building and 10-thousand dollars in damage to Wegmanns vehicle.
