Elkader City Park approves increases in water rates

The Elkader City Council approved an ordinance to increase water rates. The Base Rate will increase $2.50 a month with the Meter Reading Rent increasing one-dollar. The increase is due to a future upgrade of Meter Reading Technology.
The Council will hold a public hearing on August 10th dealing with an ordinance to prohibit Data Centers in the city.
The Council set a public hearing for August 10th for the sale of two lots and the re-zoning of a lot in the Stahr Addition.
