Fayette County Accident Reports

    On October 15th, 2025, Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a report of a Semi-Truck and Trailer in the ditch at the intersection of Fillmore Road/Imperial Road outside of West Union. After further investigation, the driver of the Semi Brady Koester, 23 of West Union had turned too sharp, and the weight of the trailer pulled it into the ditch. The Semi and Trailer sustained over $1,500 of damage and no injuries were reported.

On October 15th, 2025 at approximately 2:33 pm, a Fayette County Deputy came across a stalled vehicle on Hwy 150 near the intersection of 210th st. Upon speaking with the occupants, it was learned that the driver Neal Sheeley 73 of Decorah was driving north on Hwy 150 when he collided with a deer in his 2022 Toyota Highlander. The collision caused approximately $4,000 in damage and no injuries were reported.
