(Iowa) -- A Decorah man is being sentenced to 50 years in prison for killing a teenage girl. Fifteen-year-old Jade Colvin went missing from her Arizona home in 2016. She had been in contact with 66-year-old James Bachmurski, who paid her to travel to his Iowa home in early 2017. Colvin sent her last message to family and friends two weeks later, the same day investigators believe she was killed. Bachmurski was charged for her death last year after a renewed investigation by U.S. Marshals. He was found guilty of second-degree murder in September and sentenced on Tuesday.
