Fayette County Arrest Incidents

On 7-23-25 at approximately 1:51 p.m. a Fayette County Deputy arrested Miranda R. Baillargeon, 40 of Decorah on two valid arrest warrants. The warrants were for Failure to appear original charges were Theft in the 5th degree and Disorderly Conduct. Bond was set in the amount pf $1000.00 cash or Surety. The second warrant was for Failure to appear on Trespass first offense. Bond was set in amount of $250.00 cash only. Baillargeon was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail where she was booked into the jail. The Fayette County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Allamakee County Sheriff's Office.


On July 23rd, 2025, at approximately 9:52 PM a Fayette County Deputy conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Lincoln Road (IA 150 N) and W Bradford Street (HWY 18). After further investigation, the driver, Julio Pizano Gonzalez, age 36 of West Union, IA, was placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence 1st Offense, a serious misdemeanor. He was transported to the Fayette County jail.
